Help us honor HER by joining our cause today!
HONOR. EMPOWER. REBUILD.
Recapturing our Sisters' independence and providing a
helping hand, love and hope to our Sisters in Arms.
The HER Foundation is committed to providing meals, lodging, access to medical care and job placement services for identified women veterans who are homeless or in danger of becoming homeless.
No woman veteran should be homeless.
To provide shelter and restore hope, honor, and dignity in every female veteran who seeks comfort, support, and assistance through our programs.
Our focus is on homeless women veterans, both single and with families in the Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties.
We live out our mission through our service programs, volunteer efforts, and community education of the needs of veterans.
Restore dignity to all aspects of life.
Ensure every person has a right to safe, affordable and decent housing.
Provide a non-judgmental environment and access to a comprehensive array of services, demonstrating
our commitment to putting our Sisters in Arms first.
Develop creative and innovative solutions that are responsive to the evolving needs of our residents.
Veterans will be treated with the dignity and the respect due to every member of our armed services.
The HER Foundation, does not and shall not discriminate on basis of race, creed,
color, sexual orientation, or religious background. Any veteran, regardless of discharged status who seeks
our assistance will be afforded access to our services provided.
Our motto at the HER Foundation is housing first. At Faith House, we are here to provide assistance for single women Veterans, who are homeless without precondition. We will aid in addressing all underlying issues that have led to homeless; i.e. lack of income, mental health, drugs or alcohol. Women Veterans that have served this country have made the greatest sacrifices by leaving home to defend their country. These women Veterans deserve the best the community has to offer them, while they try to reintegrate themselves back in to society.
